IVF-Day 19 - I have. . .

Tons of follicles but not quite ready for plucking

Ovaries the size of tennis balls that are killing me

A cold that is starting to kick my butt

A husband who is the best injection giver

A whole lot of thank yous for the support I receive on this journey

I went back to the RE this morning for more blood work and another ultrasound. My follicles are growing just as they should be. They aren't quite ready for aspiration yet; thinking the retrieval will be Tuesday the 21st. I should get the call about 2:30 to see what the next step is. I am anticipating having to go in tomorrow as well.

Hi Erin
- I happened upon your blog tonight and realized you're here in Tampa Bay and are using RMG for your IVF ~ Good luck to you and your hubby! (BTW, stretch pants are the way to roll as your ovaries turn into vollyballs these last final days! LOL) Anyway, our daughter Lily was born in Feb of 2009 with IVF #2, in St. Pete. We were diagnosed with male factor infertility and was told in 2006 (by Dr. Tarantino) that IVF was our only shot (after trying since our wedding in 2005). We ended up getting our BFP with USF Medical (our 3rd RE, 2nd IVF after a frozen transfer). Email me if you have any questions!! It's one hell of a roller-coaster, that's for sure. Good luck!
