My feet and ankles are so swollen! I noticed it last night and asked the Captain if he thought so too and indeed they are swollen. I don't know what to do besides propping my feet up and drinking a ton of water. I really pray that I am not stuck with sausage toes for the next 4 months. Even my flip flops were tight this morning, I can't go barefoot the rest of this pregnancy. Help!
Oh how I don't miss the swelling from pregnancy. Unfortunately mine started around 23/24 weeks, too, and only got worse. Propping your feet up and staying off of them is the only thing that helps. I found that my feet and ankles would be completely back to normal after a restful weekend, but painfully swollen again by the end of my work week.
Have you considered pressure stockings? I hear they are a pregnant lady's best friend. They're totally old-peoplish but if you're wearing pants, no one would know.
Not to freak you out (and sorry if I do!), but make sure you keep an eye on swelling, especially toward the end of the pregnancy, as it can be a symptom of preeclampsia. Swelling can be completely normal, so try not to worry too much, just make sure you check in with your doctor if it gets too nutty! :) Hugs to you and Baby P...can we start calling him by his name yet??

3 lovely notes from friends:
